OSING A LOVED ONE is very difficult to cope with. If it is your child, we can only imagine how difficult it must be. This year I witnessed a colleague of mine at CHRISTUS St. Patrick Home Care overcome adversity with the strength of Job. Sharon King experienced one of the greatest losses one could ever imagine when her seventeen-year-old son died this year.

Sharon exhibited Jesus’ love by reaching out to others to comfort them during this difficult time. She came back to work the next week with her faith carrying her all the way. It has been over six months now and she has continued to exhibit a positive humble attitude. Every day, she shares caring, compassionate and friendly behavior as she works diligently as a clinical supervisor. Sharon shares a smile with everyone she comes in contact with and brightens up our workplace. I have never witnessed God in anyone as much as I have Sharon King. She is a true inspiration to all.

Sharon has exhibited her faith in everything she does. With her God as her side, she has managed to cope with this great loss. Sharon King knows in her heart where her son is, and has shared that with us by her actions. She has taught me about faith on a daily basis without even knowing it. Sharon King is “A True Image of Faith.”
